Overview

Every journey with All Aboard Transport sits on a framework of licensing, vetting, training, and insurance. This page consolidates that framework in one place so corporate procurement teams, wedding planners, private-office principals, and private-hire compliance reviewers can verify the standards we operate to without having to ask.

Licensing

  • Transport for London (TfL) Private Hire Operator Licence — All Aboard Transport holds a current TfL Private Hire Operator licence. Every booking is accepted, recorded, and dispatched under that operator licence as required by the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998.
  • TfL Private Hire Driver Licence — Every chauffeur on our roster holds a current TfL Private Hire Driver licence. We do not accept subcontracted work from unlicensed drivers.
  • TfL Private Hire Vehicle Licence — Every vehicle on our fleet is licensed as a Private Hire Vehicle with TfL, annually MOT-tested, and fitted with the TfL licence discs required to operate in London.
  • ULEZ and Congestion Charge compliance — All vehicles meet Transport for London's Ultra Low Emission Zone standards and Central London Congestion Charge requirements. Both charges are included in fixed-price transfers.

Driver Vetting

  • Enhanced DBS disclosure — Every chauffeur holds a current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate, renewed annually. Enhanced checks cover spent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and locally-held police intelligence.
  • Right-to-work verification — Every chauffeur's right to work in the UK is verified and re-verified against Home Office documentation before their first shift and at contract renewal.
  • Driving-record review — DVLA driving-record checks are reviewed annually. Chauffeurs with recent major-category endorsements are not deployed on client-facing work.
  • Identity and address verification — Passport or BRP, proof of address, and two professional references are verified before on-boarding.

Training and Professional Development

  • Hospitality and etiquette — Induction covers arrivals-hall meet-and-greet protocol, luggage handling, cabin climate and privacy management, and door-opening and handover choreography expected at five-star hotels.
  • Discretion and confidentiality — All chauffeurs are trained in client confidentiality and sign a non-disclosure framework covering client identities, destinations, conversations overheard in transit, and vehicle-telematics data. NDAs with specific client wording are available on request.
  • Defensive driving — Chauffeurs receive ongoing defensive-driving training: progressive acceleration and braking, smooth-cabin techniques for passengers reading or working in transit, and hazard-perception refreshers.
  • Airport and private-aviation protocols — Chauffeurs covering Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Farnborough, Biggin Hill, and Northolt are briefed on airport meet-points, airside access where relevant, and FBO handover procedures.
  • Route and geography — London-based chauffeurs maintain working familiarity with the Congestion Charge, ULEZ, Bank Junction and Tottenham Court Road restrictions, and event-day closure patterns.

Insurance Cover

  • Private-hire motor insurance — Every vehicle is insured on a dedicated private-hire policy that covers the driver, the vehicle, and fare-paying passengers.
  • Public liability — £5 million public liability cover for third-party injury or property damage arising from our operations.
  • Passenger liability — £5 million passenger liability cover as part of our motor insurance.
  • Employer's liability — £10 million employer's liability cover (statutory minimum is £5 million) for chauffeurs engaged under our operator licence.
  • Certificates on request — Insurance certificates and schedule-of-cover can be supplied to corporate procurement or venue compliance teams on request, typically within one working day.

Fleet Safety and Maintenance

  • Manufacturer-scheduled servicing — Every vehicle is serviced on the manufacturer's schedule at franchised main dealers or approved specialists.
  • Annual MOT — All vehicles hold a current MOT and the TfL private-hire vehicle inspection certificate.
  • Daily walk-around checks — Chauffeurs complete a documented walk-around check (tyres, lights, fluids, cleanliness, in-cabin amenities) before every shift.
  • Backup-vehicle policy — Mechanical failure on a client-facing booking is covered by a standby vehicle as part of the operations protocol at no additional charge to the client.

Data Protection

Client data — booking details, journey routes, billing information — is handled under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. Our full privacy framework is documented on the Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy pages. Personal data is never shared with third parties other than those strictly required to deliver a confirmed booking (for example, the assigned chauffeur).

Verification

Corporate procurement teams, event-venue compliance teams, and private-hire audits can request copies of our TfL operator-licence number, insurance schedule, DBS-policy statement, and GDPR documentation by contacting operations. We typically return the full compliance pack within one working day.
